Evening Prayer/Compline
As part of our digital ministry, we meet informally online via Zoom for Evening Prayer/Compline Monday through Friday evenings at 7:00pm Arizona time. We alternate using six different services that include Celtic and Anglican prayers as well as services from the Book of Common Prayer and the New Zealand Prayer Book. Each service consists of a designated reader and a responder that have volunteered for those positions followed by prayers for those in need. There is no requirement for attendance or active participation. We have people who come to simply observe the service and not everyone comes every night. Most attendees come when they are able to. We routinely have parishioners join us from around the US and Canada as well as locally. We usually spend 10 to 15 minutes before and after socializing and the service and prayers usually last about 15 to 20 minutes. It’s a very nice way to end the day focused on our Lord and Savior. If you are interested, please reach out by email to Thomas Blum and he can address any questions or concerns you may have and can provide you with digital copies of the services we use so you can follow along. We’d love to have you join us!
