Fake Email Scam Alert
Fake email accounts again continue to circulate asking our parishioners for money and/or gift cards. Thankfully, our Jr. Warden quickly identified one such email that is being used by a scammer right now. The Church of the Transfiguration will never ask you to send gift cards and/or cash for the Rector’s or anyone else’s personal unofficial use. All donations go through the church and any spending is tracked in our official financial reports. These emails can be easily identified as the email address used does not match Father Caleb’s email.
